Coventry University

The Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing at Coventry University has developed significantly over the last decade and continues to play a vital role in the regional and national advancements across engineering and manufacturing sectors.  With over 7500 students currently enrolled on our courses we remain one of the largest teaching bodies in the country; furthermore, we continue to invest heavily in our facilities and equipment to ensure every student has access to the very best tools to supplement their teaching.

Our most recent building (Beatrice Shilling Building) was opened in 2020 providing a wide range of world class equipment including a VR gaming studio, specialist computing labs and multi-purpose engineering labs and workshops (3D printing, rapid prototyping, laser facility, physics and electronics laboratories). In 2022 we also launched a brand-new school (Future Transport Engineering) looking at more efficient ways of moving people, goods and services between towns, cities and countries and incorporates a focus in new technologies such as zero emission vehicles, autonomous cars and digital supply chains.
